A PIN is required to activate a NetID for the first time. You can request your PIN one of three ways:
- Call the MSU ID Office at
during our business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:45pm EST) and someone from our team will give you your PIN over the phone if your paperwork has been fully processed by HR517-355-4500 - Visit the MSU ID Office and someone from our team will give you a document with your PIN on it (please call our office first to make sure your paperwork has been fully processed by HR before visiting our office)
- Submit an online PIN request using the button to the left titled "Request a PIN for an employee or retiree" (this option typically takes anywhere from 2-5 business days)
