Manage a NetID
The links below can be used to manage a NetID which has already been activated.
MSU faculty, staff and students will need to register for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in order to access some MSU systems and can register at the same time for self-service password reset. This provides the ability to reset your NetID password without a PIN or PAN.
If you want to change an existing, known password, use your current NetID and password.
If you want to change your NetID, requests are subject to review by the ID Office before the change is granted. Please note, NetID changes will not be processed Aug. 10 - Sept. 3, 2024.
Deactivate a NetID that is no longer needed.
