STUDENTS:
Students must use their Student ID number and PAN to activate their MSU NetID. If you are a student and do not know your PAN, you can find it in your applicant portal. Please note, there may be a 5-7 days delay from your acceptance before the PAN becomes available on the portal.
EMPLOYEES
A PIN is required to activate a NetID for the first time. You can request your PIN one of three ways:- Call the MSU ID Office at 517-355-4500 during our business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:45pm EST) and someone from our team will give you your PIN over the phone if your paperwork has been fully processed by HR
- Visit the MSU ID Office and someone from our team will give you a document with your PIN on it (please call our office first to make sure your paperwork has been fully processed by HR before visiting our office)
- Your department may submit an online PIN request on your behalf here. Please note, it may take 2-5 business days to process the request after Central HR completes the hiring paperwork.
